cast nets
 
Was out Friday used my castnet for the first time after sitting in its container for awhile. Got sick over the weekend was it the casnet?

What kind of container? Something completely closed off like a bucket and lid? Nets should be stored in a crate or plastic basket etc. I'd imagine it got pretty nasty if it was thrown in salt water, not rinsed and put away like that

Ridden hard and put away wet.

I think he is referring to the repetitive spinning motion to throw it

when you throw the net are you using the method where one of the loops is held in your teeth? if so, its possible there was some bacteria in the throw line rope . give it a good freshwater soak
