Some big fish around today too.
 

Back at it again this morning. Second keeper of the day a nice P.B. 7.25 For Ray Silikowski only a 100 yards from yesterdays 8.0 . They were still chewing slow but steady and my crew of ace college students put together a nice catch of keepers. We stayed on the same drifts all day. My 10 pound devil fluke also made it to the fillet table where I made fast work of the tasty wings. They wanted gulp today whereas yesterdays fish including the big guy wanted meat ( sea robin strip). Rest day and fish fry tomorrow.

I have a boga which doesnt give tenths. The fish were also measured accurately on my board that you can see in my other post. Sundays big fish was 26.5 and Saturdays was 27.5 . They were thick and may have been bigger than what I said. Most of the others were just 18 -19 . The boys are all former Varsity Football and basketball players and 6 2 to 6 3. Pictures are all about perspective and not to be judged if you are doubting.

Sounds like somebody is just a little jealous. lol Very nice fish Capt. if you are ever looking for a fill in for a fluke trip look me up..

No need to explain as pictures can sometimes be deceiving. Based on length those are some really nice fish especially so early in the season. Great job on getting the boys on the meat.

Thanks for the backup guys. I know its been a little slow so far so I was hoping to let everyone know there are some good fish around and provide some incentive. I saw someone had a 14 the other day. Wow. I've caught a lot of 8- 9... somethings but after a few thousand fluke still haven't hit the 10+ club. Maybe someday. It was good to see you out there laketrout. I probably would not have caught my big one if I hadn't run over to that spot to talk to you. THANKS! Lets fish the next tournament together.
