Fished Saturday from 6:30 to noon with my brother who is new to bass fishing. I boated 8 LMB and 2 pickerals while my brother caught 4 slime darts with 2 over 24". All fish were found in the shallows under 5 feet deep. Soft plastics fooled all the fish today and water temperature was between 63 to 67 degrees in the various areas we fish. Also caught a huge crappie on a rapala scatter rap while trolling between spots. Monday we will hit up a different Monmouth county lake but have yet to decide where.
