Last Stock SBR (Clinton Area)
 

Hit the SBR today for the last stocking of the spring season. I am glad to say I caught and released 8 nice Rainbows. I saw more fisherman out today than I have seen all season. I guess they wanted there last hurrah!! I also noticed while fishing a few very large fish chasing other smaller fish on the surface, they made a decent sized wake and my guess was they where large breeders. I will certainly will be back again. Gonna fish for these trout till they stop biting!

As far as I am aware, there were no breeders stocked yesterday. The fish stocked were around 12" average, largest fish I saw was around 17". There are plenty of fish in the rivers, late start to the bite and good overall numbers equals great spring/summer fishing.

there are some big pike in that area of the river, they probably eat some of the stockies.
