First bass of 2015..Finally
 

Came in at about a pound and a half which sadly was bigger than any bass I caught last year. Also my first ever on a senko which was kind of exciting since I had no luck on them at all last year. No where around has shiners so I was forced to throw the artificials. Also landed a few slime darts but they were so tiny I just threw them back without the P in my CPR. I've avoided the skunk for my first 7 trips this year lets keep it goin! Tight lines.

Very nice, I was un skunked for my first 17 ice trips but since Rvr skunked me I haven't gone more than 3-4 trips without getting that skunk! Hate skunks!

Thanks guys. All my success is from everyones help here. Hoping they get bigger and bigger. I started using my little 5 foot ultralight for slime darts just so I could get a little more action lol. Still a thrill and a day fishing is a perfect day no matter what.

Hahah i knew you would chime in bustin me for JFK. I couldn't find shiners and I was at sayreville sportsman so I said screw it and went there. I need a place for tomorrow if you wanna pm me some ideas

Much bigger than my first bass this year. Good job.
Mine was slightly lager than then silver phoebe I caught it on.
Should of took a picture- it was pretty funny. Released to become a monster one day.

Yeah he gave me a good fight too. First fish on my curado vendetta combo. I bring my tape and scale everyday but never use em. I feel bad having them out for the 15 seconds it takes to unhook and take a pic
