I'm living up in Schoharie County now, and I've been looking for some info on stripers in the Hudson up this far north. Are you fishing from shore or a boat? Bait or lures?

Any help is appreciated, and please PM me if that is what you prefer.

fishing from shore with herring. i fish live and chunk, so far this year all my fish have been caught on chunk. you can get them all the way up to albany right now, just gota get bait in the water!

Nice Striper ….I Fished the last 3 hours of incoming this afternoon in Rockland county. Bloodworms and Herring chunks. No bites. Will try again maybe Saturday night.
