Hump day bass

My partner in crime, Johnny tomatoes got back from wintering in florida. I took him and his brother tommy out hoping to get him his first striper.
Trolled around to no avail ( I guess I still have a lot of learning to do). Set up after a while on some marks and the waiting game began. Took a little while but we finally got them going. Not a red hot bite, but as slow pick. The mission today was to pop tommys striper cherry, and that we did. We ended up with two keepers and a dozen shorts and a handful of misses. All in all not a bad day on the water and I have Johnny back. Saw the down deep bull today. She is pretty! Wi be out again on Sunday. |

Re: Hump day bass
Tommys first bass. Wanted a good pic of the fish. :)
I would have taken a pic with the nice keeper he caught but being that we decided to leave the net home (catch and release Wednesday), I lost her boat side. |

I was out there on my buddy's boat yesterday - we trolled a stretch and an umbrella rig - had luck in the back bay. 5 fish on (of course we dropped the big one...), 4 fish in, all between 30 and 32 inches around 15 pounds.
Awesome day and beautiful weather! :D;):) |
Re: Hump day bass
If Johnny Tomatoes has a brother Tommy who popped his striper cherry on Wednesday, wouldn't that make him Tommy Cherry Tomatoes?
