Sat. Keyport flats
 

Headed out with SharkyMark to the flats. Started out clamming and it was a pick of smaller bass. Made a move further in and it was more of the same. Mark made the executive decision to start pulling niners with shads and it was game on. Landed quite a few shorts along with our 2 man limit plus one big cow that we released. I could've used my bonus tag on her but I decided to let her go. I'm the experimenting type to try different baits to pull but when you start getting a bloody nose from your partner it's time to switch to what he's pulling. Seems that alot of other guys were trolling with great results from the dock talk and the fish being filet at the cleaning table.

Yoooooooooo, thanx for the salty report dude. I talked to 199 anglers that are out there today and they are doing some serious catching. Some big fish have moved in. Sounds like you had fun.

P.S. Watcha doin posting this on the FRESHWATER side??? Ahhhhhhhh, it happens!!!:D

Wait......I thought this was the salt water kayak fishing forum ??? HA HA Well today was a great day on the bay.....plenty of big girls all morning...all released.

Keyport flats, big bass, I'll take that any day of the week in the freshwater section !!!!!!! Awesome fish, I love it !!!
