South branch report

Fished south branch this am with my dad and long time friend! It was first time out for the season for all three of us, and when stiff wind hit me in the face I though it was gonna be a slow day. Set up at our favorite hole around 0900 and I had my first fish by 0915 on a cast master. It was slow after that as the wind was nonstop for about 30 minutes but once it flopped out we started to get a chew. By 1130 my dad and I had a limit and my friend was one shy! Decided to pack it in and get cleaned up! Nice day despite the wind and ready to go again tomorrow! All cookie cutter bows but I must say the size and health of stockies caught today was impressive! Not a single fish under 12 inches nothing bigger then 15!!
Tight lines

I was out too, the wind was unrelenting, got a good wind burn on my face. 7 more weeks of trout stocking so no excuses to stay indoors. Sound like all of you had a great day, keep the reports coming in. I divide my South Branch reports into lower and upper South Branch. Anything below Clinton Falls I call the lower South Branch, anything above that, the upper South Branch.
