The "TROUT" side, P River, 4/5
 

Hit the P this morning after the kids were done checking out all the stuff the Easter Bunny brought them. They sure did get a ton of stuff, WOW!!! Arrived at the spot around 830 am and of course nobody was there. There's never anyone there. I guess nobody fishes on Easter morning which is perfectly fine with me. Started off throwing the purple/silver Pins Minnow and that would be the only lure I needed all morning. Not sure what went on in this area yesterday catching wise. The fish were stacked like cord wood, it was AMAZING! Rainbow after Rainbow came to the banks on just about every other cast. They were fighting very well and hitting the little plug aggressively in my opinion. What a morning on the "P"!!! The tally for the morning was somewhere around 2 dozen Bows measuring between 9-13 inches. Limited out by 915 am and played catch n release til around 12 noon. Got to say that I'm very happy with the fish our state put in thus far. Great job guyz and galz.

To all the anglers that made it out for the opener yesterday and posted reports here, great job on the catching for those of you that caught. Dfish, that's one BEAUTIFUL TIGER you caught yesterday. Must've been a blast to catch and land. GOOD STUFF!!!

Thanks Eddie, good job yourself as well, in most cases I'm a quiet stream guy but peer pressure brought me back to the lake... It was a good time, just couldn't let her go back she swallowed that hook too fast and she was bleeding like... Nm... Time to smoke!!

Gotta love the p! I fished Easter morning too! And it paid off as well, waiting to get the pics in the email to post. And I didn't almost get smashed by a tree today either!
