Assunpink Creek
 

Hey fellas,
When I go to visit my son at Rider University I pass over the Assunpink Creek by Mercer County Park. Any of you guys ever fish it and if you did ,how'd ya do? I usually fish the Metedeconk in Ocean County but this stream looked pretty nice. Noww...if I could only get my Chemistry Major to perfect that homemade powerbait.

Lots of snags in that creek but the fishing is pretty good once opening day is over. I fish it further downstream though in Lawrenceville and Hamilton. If you wade you could fish some stretches and not see another person all day, as most people hang out by the bridges.
