access closures
 

so i went to hit my favorite river spot yesterday (not a trout area) and the whole access zone was blocked off by giant concrete blocks and chains...wtf?? the river is a little high but give me a break! so i ended up trying the sludge pit...waste of time haha. will try a different (not as good fishing!) access point today i guess.

anyway the bottom line i guess is a heads up for opening day trout, even though this isn't a trout section of the river I'd make sure your spot is open access for saturday because if this area is closed for some reason, other areas may be too. I already confirmed my opening day area is good to go. it's going to be nice at this point in the season to just do some fishing where i know the fish are there (stocked) and dumb and hungry haha. it's been way too long since i had a decent day fishing...beginning of march ice jigging for perch...
