Island Farm Weir Fish Ladder on the Raritan is now open

Tuesday 3/24, the NJ Water Supply Auth. cleaned it using a Vac Truck & the Rutgers students installed their monitoring equipment.

What about the other fish ladders in NJ, aren't there as many as 14 more out there ?

NJDF&W's @ the Union Lake Dam on the Maurice River is open.

Whomever owns the ladder / dam, opens them.

For instance, it's Ocean County Parks for the Lake Shenandoah Ladder (NJ's first) on the S. Branch Metedeconk R.
