World record paddle caught from tablerock ar
 

Wow, a world record paddlefish caught from TABLEROCK LAKE AR...destroying prior record by 100lbs. I know that they are looked on as GARBAGE FISH as are GAR.

What a shame that the majestic beast was kept. I would rather see it swim off & make more paddlefish than have my name in some stupid record book. That leaves a greater legacy than a footnote & big stuffed fish your family will have to deal once you have moved on to the big lake in the sky...
I only keep a fish that will not make it, with remorse & self loathing.

Then again I'm pretty sure the fish for paddle fish by jerking a treble hook and snagging them so who knows what kind of damage they're doing anyway...don't see the point unless it's for bait
