Ice in and Out
 

What a difference two weeks has made. Some guys were out on the SB but those I spoke to didn't do anything. The water temp was in the high 30's. There is still lots of snow runoff to go, so don't expect temps to come up too soon. I didn't see any of the early spring black stonefles either. No casings and nothing in the air. I didn't get down to the Gorge but I'm sure the access road along the river is still snowpacked and difficult to trudge through. Don't just show up for opening day without first taking a ride to your favorite spot to check things out.
