Lots of ice with some open areas. Very picturesque but I'll wait until things thaw out. Too dangerous to wade. Still lots of snow covered banks and ice covered rocks.

you ever catch any fish in that hole from the first picture?? i fished it a couple times but i think i only caught a sucker.

Here's a few more pics to make you feel like you're there. Most of you should recognize the area. The sign should give you some idea about what to expect if you've got that itch. Don't expect to see too many black stone flies yet. As I said before, parking areas along the road are not plowed and getting your car off the road will be a problem.

It used to be much better before some of the floods flattened out the hole. On Tuesday nights and Wednesdays it gets pounded hard. The stretch up above it has been posted for quite some time but the entire stretch holds trout all year but catching them isn't easy because of all of the pressure. They get up under the bushes along the bank among the bigger rocks where they can hold making it tough to approach them. When the water level is down, they are really tight to the bank.
