Windy Day Pike
Well, the sun was shining and a little wind couldn't stop me from a quick ice trip.. Winds were cranking but the fish gods smiled on me today.. After lots of good advise from the boys here, Ive made the switch to 4-6 ft, 60lb Fluro and laaaaaaarge bait.. For the last week, the pike have definately been hitting the ice more consistently with the longer leaders.. Although there far from my PB's, it's the first time I iced 2 in 1 day.. Enjoy and Flaaaag Up.... Many thanks for all the helpful advice...

Re: Windy Day Pike
Nice work, I've been striking out with Pike lately. Was 3 turns away from getting spooled by something there earlier in the week, never seen line peeled off so quickly before!

Re: Windy Day Pike
i heard that teams of 2-3 sunfish will grab your bait at the same time and just swim as fast as they can in the same direction to try to spool you, that's probably what happened
