Fish-Tastic Thursday
 

Well, what's better on a day off from school and work then a mid-week ice catchin session with the kiddos.. Yup I said Ice Catchin.. Was a jig and flag free for all.. Pretty much slammed most of what this Jersey waterway had to offer with slab bluegill, perch, crappie... A trophy Golden and a freakin rainbow trout added to the kids slay session.. For the good papa, a couple nice plump pike'osss..
Weather was great, crowds were no where to be found and best of all, Family time well spent in the great outdoors...

Sounds like you had an AWESOME day brother. I met you on LH Tuesday. I was the WACKJOB with the Russian hat on. I was right by Saxmatts side when he landed the PIG Musky!!!

you can't beat that! slab bluegills have eluded me so far this season, i have to imagine those kids must have loved pulling those little piggies through the ice all day!
