Hit the big d with jimmy the greek this morning from 7 to 230 set the tip ups in the holes on drop off from 20-40 fow and started to jig after. All day long it was cat after cat some hooked in mouth some snagged they were so thick at times running into your line....the greek threw his marcum down as we watched one cat suspending five or six circle around that one....friggin weird...http://i1278.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8mijiwk1.jpg

Just wanna shout out to you guys please be careful!!! Stay away from the middle of the river it just froze late last week it looks like it just as thick but it not i watched a guy walk right across it!!!! Had to be 2 1/2 if that!!!

man i've been talking about trying that but at the mention of ice fishing a big river all my wusstastic fishing buddies say 'hell no'. I finally got one of them on a small river ice fishing and the panfishing was amazing but that's about all that's in there.

any day you can rip a bunch of fish with a jigging rod is top notch in my book, congrats!

Nice fish! How thick was the ice? And is this the deleware water gap. Like on the edge of PA because like 3 weeks ago i saw 2 guys fishing there. Did you get any on the tipups?

i've actually never eaten catfish because i can only catch them in disgusting polluted lakes hahaha
