Pretty epic day on the ice
 

Fished with GetANet today locally. Had a special guest, JimmyLiveBait, make an appearance. He chased tip ups with us for a few hours. As he left, Dale's daughter joined us.

As Dale and I started setting up our tip ups around 8 AM, flags were flying consistently until around 3:20 PM. Then the bite stopped like someone flipped a switch. We had well over 20 flags between the 2 of us, pulling LMB, pickerel, and perch through the ice. The pickerel were LAUGHABLE for the most part--i was referring to them as hot dogs and toothy pencils lol. The perch were upwards of 12.5". All of the bass were in the 12"-16" range aside from a few larger specimens--one of which I just posted in the ice contest that measured 20" and was faaaaaaaaaat. Gorgeous fish... I'm sure Dale has a few additional shots of him and Kelly with fish.

Now it's time to drink and watch football while I stuff my face. As Ice Cube said "Today was a good day..."

Yep made my special guest appearance and played baitgirl for a bit! Always fun with dale and Jeremy who will have you laughing the whole time. Boioioioioioinggggg flags were flyin all morning which makes it worth all the while. Once again was great to get out and spend a few hours with great friends. Tight lines boys n girls and be safe out there!

Ended up being quite a pleasant day on the hard water today, not to cold and windy with a nice cloud cover for the majority of the day. Not feelin too well we stayed local and it paid off very nicely. We had pretty steady action with flurries of two, three, five flags at a time most of the day. Seemed like when one came another did as well it was almost comical as a couple of times we had too many flags a one time as if that's a bad thing!!!LMAO!!!! We caught too many fish to even actually keep count after a while got too confusing. We had a bunch of largemouths, a bunch of small pickerel with a couple decent ones and a few nicely colored and sized yellow perch as the bag for the day. Was quite a treat to have Jimmy come out and hang with us as well as my daughter Kelly who was putting on a clinic, slammin home the hooks on several Largemouths and a few pics! Second time on the ice and she already knows how to hook and land them. Remove the hook, rebait and reset the Tip Up all by herself!!! Poppa was quite proud today!!! As the day proceeded on she was callin us off the flags and takin them solo!!! Quite a site too see!!!!! Not too much porn but snapped a quick pic or two from the day! I thought the hole shot was pretty cool and Kelly with her first Largemouth thru the ice!!! Enjoy!!!!!

Great lookin bag if you ask me! I never had that "too many flags" problem either, lol! I was def on the wrong damn lake 2day. Didn't get skunked, but only got slimed. Great lookin fish on ur end though, keep em comin!!
