Tile Gear?

Hello Folks

Please help us gear up for our first year tile fishing on the Voyager. We loved jigging cod in the GOM but since that’s done, we figure tile fishing will be a much closer alternative. We’d prefer catching fish on jigs but if the conditions, bite & or target species indicate we’d prefer catching fish on bait to jigging a skunk. Is it generally the drift conditions that dictate weather jigs or bait produce better or are there other variables, e.g. bait present and aggressive of the fish?
We want to be prepared for all possible depths, bottoms and species. What jigs, rigs and other terminal tackle should we have with us to be fully prepared?
Do we need bait rigs with different teaser combos (color, size & or style)?
Do different jig styles, shapes & colors produce better at different times based upon conditions and bait present or are they pretty consistent? What jigs (styles, sizes and colors) do we need to buy / carry for all of the various depths, conditions & target species? Are our any of our New England cod jigs (LAV, Slokroken, 40B, hammered diamonds, Crippled Herring) worth bringing tile fishing?
Are there other items that we should bring to maximize our catch, e.g., extra teasers, light sticks, other baits etc.?
Thanks for any input, experience and advise!
JD

Call Reel Seat. If you can find silver eels anywhere, buy them and strip em out. Tile candy! Had a blast deep dropping this past summer. Had extremely ideal conditions out in the Tails and held bottom with 20-24 oz of lead for most of the day.
