fished with my two sons yesterday up on lh for the contest.we did ok with one taking 3rd place pickerel and the other 2nd place perch.what a great day to be out on the lake.the fishing was ok but the weather and the laughs were off the chart.

congrats that's tough to do on that lake, many guys know some secrets on secret spots and it's tough to beat them nice job placing twice! I wasn't in the contest but nabbed two perch that may have had a chance to place idk. they were over 13" but i didn't weigh them, how big was your son's perch?

1lb 1oz perch and the pickerel was 2lb 15oz

Fastedie, do you or anyone you know fish GWL? If so, do you know of any foot access to the ice along the west side (jersey Ave)? It seems my friends have been methodically kicked off the park area by someone claiming it was an association property and no trespassing allowed. For years we been using the area for access w no issues. I still have access on the east side, but west side can be red hot at times. Thanks.
