Happy New Year all you crazy maniacs. Enjoy whole heartily but be safe out there.

Tried to catch a fish today for the last day of 2014 but got the skunk. At least it was cold and windy! :D

I'm off to get "stupid" myself right now. Here we go!

As I sit on my couch sipping a nice French malbec, watching an awful New Years program, enduring the endless screaming of my lovely children, and trying to not burn the cocktail weenies, I took a moment to reflect on this past year. It was a good year. Aside from my losing my full time career job, i have much to be happy about: the solid fish I've caught, the great fishing relationships I've built upon, some sweet ass firsts, expecting another child, and the anticipation of what another year will bring my way. That's just a few that came to mind...

To all of you who I know and have fished with, and to those of you who move forth into 2015 with nothing but optimism... I say cheers, sto lat, ching ching, salut, salud, down the hatch, and like a train baby... Around the bend!! Happy new year fellas...

Sorry to hear about you job loss. Been there and I know how it feels. Fishing is a wonderful release Happy New Year and here's to many good times on the water in 2015
