Santa brought GetANet another present - A PAIR OF SKI'S AND NOT FOR THE SLOPES!!!!

Wow, where to begin? Oh yea It started last night when I said to Jeremy "I feel like it's going to be a multiple fish day tomorrow!!!"
My feet were barely touching the ground after last weekend and NOW I am feelin a MULTIPLE FISH DAY?

WHO THE HELL FEELS MULTIPLE FISH DAYS FOR MUSKY???:eek:

So he just laughed me off as we made the final plans for the following morning.
We also had an unexpected angler on the GetANet coming along with us.
My daughter Kelly, who anybody who has fished with us before knows for a Beautiful young lady she can really go toe to toe with the Big Dogs at fishing!!!
The Optimism and Expectations were off the charts as we rolled out this morning even after the Jigman was late again!!!!
Kelly was on a mission and we were stoked as well with some sweeet baits and the beautiful morning on the rise!!! SO as well finally roll up to the ramp I see it!!!! WTF!!!!
The lake is almost completely iced over!!! NOW WHAT!!! I am ready to blow a head gasket!!! We get out and toss a few rocks out on it and they go thru pretty easily SO we decide to launch!! Oh Yea!!! We pull away from shore and we're busting thru ice so thick it's slammin the boat so hard that we were bouncing around like a bumper car!!! We looked like a crabfisher in the bearing sea bustin thru that ice!!The sound was incredible like we were breaking glass the whole way out to the spot we planned to fish! Stay tuned for a vid clip of that!!! So we finally make our way out to the spot with the Jigman choppin the ice with the oar and the trollin motor on high. Now I start doing circles to chop up the area we wanna fish probably scaring away every fish for a mile around us!!
LOL:D Finally we bait up and get doing our thing, which unbelieveably not too long after I hook up with the first of the day! Nice looking fish with beautiful markings. A couple quick pics and released unharmed. The morning rolls on and about mid day they start chewin. I missed another then Finally Jigman gets hooked up and as he's doing battle the fish surfaces and we see it's not hooked!:eek: The fish had the bait in his mouth but not the hook! It makes a few passes around the boat and as Jeremy starts to turn it back towards me to net it the fish shakes and spits the bait, Down but not out we continue our quest for multiple fish! We missed another fish or two with the baits coming back to the boat shredded!:eek: So a little while later i'm working a possible bite my other rod doubles over and KELLY"S HOOKED UP WITH HER FIRST EVER MUSKY!:D:D:D:D:D YEEEEEEAAAAAAA!!!! She plays it out like a pro and Jeremy slips the net under it and BOOM THERE IT IS!!!
Her first and the biggest fish she ever caught!!! Beautiful Golden Demon shinning in the sun!!! We were all so happy! Quite a feat for her first time out for them. Made her Dad the happiest guy alive!!!! Then it finally slowed a bit as the afternoon wore on and we finally called it quits as the sun set on another day that was like a dream but only true!!! I think with the cold front predicted for the upcoming week that may be our last trip out for 2014 in the boat but we'll see!!! The GetANet BoyZ and Girl wrapped up the year ON FIRE!!! Five possible fish today with two landed one lost at the boat and two more swing and a miss!!! Three landed in back to back weekends!!!! Can't wait for 2015!!!!!
