Millstone Pics
If anyone has any good-quality pictures of fish they caught on the Millstone (carp, bass, pickerel, catfish, panfish), can you PM me for my email address if you'd like to share. Looking for a few pics for a magazine article.
Thanks. |
Re: Millstone Pics
Oh man... Was over there yesterday. Def some characters down there where I was fishing. Would've made for some pretty epic pics. They were slaying crappie, white perch, yellow perch and blue gills. Lots of bird life too... Geese, various species of ducks, herons, and birds of prey. Next time I go I'll be sure to bring a camera along...

What's up with that Mark???
No Musky pictures from you that were caught there!!???? |
Re: Millstone Pics
I haven't fished there since I stopped working in Somerset. Never got a musky from there, but lots of other nice fish. Unfortunately I was always flying solo and don't have any pics. Saw you got another one today. Time to buy some musky lures and stop cheating. :)

Re: Millstone Pics
Yea hoping you can give me a little insight into a couple of basic lures
Not looking to take a second mortgage out for a tackle box full of them  but would like to start chuckin a few in the spring time and see what happens:D |
Re: Millstone Pics
They'll hit large swim baits like you'd use for big bass. Grinder spinner baits $15 and a single paddle tail top water like a whopper Plopper $20 are the two more expensive ones I've had most luck with.
I never made it to the millstone but I work somewhat near it and wanted to check it out, just haven't yet. |
