First off, Merry Christmas to each and every NJF member!!!...
A happy, blessed, and fishy new year as well...
My resolution is to simply get more time at the shore.. Past few years have been tough trying to get the time..
In any case, I have off the rest of the week, and may be able to get on a tog boat this friday or saturday... Any open spots on any of the "open chartrers" that anyone is aware of?... I would hate to jump on a head boat with 45 other guys.. It rarely works out well, just too many guys for the available fish.. Might also consider a "long range" trip for sea bass/Porgies/Cod etc if any boats are going... any ideas??... bob

if you can aford an offshore sea bass trip thats what i'd do weather window frida-saturday night doesnt get better. I am heading to AC on the Osprey for togs Saturda with spotfishingusa & the directa. good luck whatever you decide

nk3,a few of us will be there Friday.fished with them last couple weekends and
did ok.

I second the NK3. Charter captains around recommend them when they are full.

I'm on the Mimi Friday, but don't expect much after three days of high seas. I think Saturday or Sunday would be the ticket. Mimi, Parker Pete, Mad Gaffer and several other sponsors have opening for the weekend. Check the Open Boat forum. Lots of opportunities.

On Mimi Friday as well, if I can shake this wonderful flu like symptoms my students sent me off for the holidays with!
