Nice day on the water beautiful weather could have used a little more breeze for the anchors but was nice not getting wind burn too. Picked away all day at some nice quality keepers. Still was a picky bite but decent life the guys who were in the right spot and figured out the bite did very well with couple of guys close to triple limits ( Joe Murray Ronnie Mohammed)...others struggled but we pretty much had bites all day. Few flurries few lulls... no great bite but the guys fished hard and grinded out a nice box of fish got the crew 10 man limit + a few . 66 keepers. Big fish was over 9lbs another at 8 1/2. Crew was a blast nice having everyone n meeting a few guys.

absolutely awesome day of togging the estimate from my ‪#‎teambromance‬ partner Dave Tats said i had a triple limit & at least a dozen throwbacks. you had to bring the bait to the toggys but when you did they were hungry! best day of togging for me in 2-3 years thankS mike for the invite & nice to meet all the NY dudes who were mad cool & Billy was there too.thank you John & captain Hank from Fish Monger Charters for the epic day!

pictured below is the rig that worked best a slider rig on 15lb flourocarbon with a crab leg & everything bagel with cream cheese

Nice job Joey on figuring out the bite. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. how can a tog just not fall in love with your sweetheart rig and bait presentation. Classic. Next time I would try one of your Philly Pretzel nuggets with Spicy mustard. The big girls will not be able to resist and will be all over your sh_t.

Nice job Jerry, bet you didn't even need to fish with that allstar group you had there. Congratulations Joe on the triple limit with 15lb fluoro. I'm going to tie some of those rigs up as soon as I get some time.:rolleyes:

yeah fishing with the trout tippet really helped me more then making sure i was using a heavy enough sinker, presenting the crab they wanted & casting around to find the spot the tog were hungry. just drop straight down on the structure with 6lb tippet flouro you'll get em all

A friend of ours was fishing on the Mohawk the same day. We sent him a picture of the special rig and he wound up catching a limit plus.
