Soaked worms for about 1 1/2 hours. Caught 2 dink Perch and one decent LMB. Water or what is left of it was way low.

Re: Srr 11/23
Well that's a fine catch coming from what's left of a fantastic reservoir. Nice BUCKETMOUTH Wilson. And caught on one of my favorite baits........:D

Nice LM George, res sure looks bad and that can't be good for the fish. I sure hope it recovers, that's my baby and Dale's (Getanet) to. We need our res back to good health.:(

Re: Srr 11/23
Was over there late morning - still a ton of equipment up on the damn. Any one know if that's the reason why it is so low? If yes, what's the schedule? Hate to see the early spring spawn impacted....

Re: Srr 11/23
.
Considering the heavy fishing pressure that reservoir receives, that bass is more than "decent". That's a big one for that lake. A park employee told me the water company is making dam repairs, but assumed they would be done a few weeks ago. It looks like they're bringing out more equipment and getting more into the repairs. On the bright side, at least they didn't have to drain the lake. Whatever the issue, I hope they're finished by the bass spawning season or the quality of the fishing is going to really deteriorate. . |
Re: Srr 11/23
Holy smokes, I avoided it this year because I heard it was drawn down a lot. I didn't realize it was that far down.
