Raw Sewage in lower Hudson Bay

Anyone have any more info on how bad this is. There was an article in the newspaper that said the lower bay will be shut down to fishing until further notice.There is a raw sewage being dumped in the river. Just wondering how far this will spread, will the "Crap" get down to the Hook?

I heard about it on the news this AM. They are dumping raw sewage around liberty state park. They said it will be an on going thing but didn't say for how long.
