Salt water report for the kayak guys
I finally had a window of a day and a half off and headed out to Montauk for a full day on Sunday and a half day on Monday. The conditions were less then favorable, but me and a friend launched and landed each time without any issues.
The fishing was good to great with about 25 bass and 25 albies landed for each of us. There was some crazy bass and albie blitzing during both days and there were many hours of just insane, non stop action. This time of the year and being in Montauk is what I wait all year for !! http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps12d8cea3.jpg http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s...ps4a2e9ca7.jpg Danny V |

Re: Salt water report for the kayak guys
Gotta love the migration out east! Were the fish keyed in on rain fish or peanuts? I was out there a few weeks ago and the harbor was packed with peanuts, spearing, and 4-6" snappers and sea robins. I'm hoping its a great fall out there after a dismal season last year. Bring on the herring!!!
