You should be able to fish. I've never heard of it being closed for low water and fished there myself 10 days ago.

Fished it on saturday, water level seems like it is still dropping.
Plenty of shoreline to fish . You can launch but it is a little tricky if your not experienced in launching in adverse conditions. The concrete ramps are way out of the water and you need to launch off the dirt. Pretty steep drop off so be careful if you try.
Last week did pretty good saturday fished from about noon till late afternoon and only had three small ones about sixteen inches each.
If you are in a boat be sure to watch the points and your fishfinder because there is a lot of shallow water and you will run a ground if you are not careful.

Bring the gear. I've camped there numerous times when the water was low. Actually better if you're in the camping area because you can walk the bank.

Yup, the fish are still there and they're still eating.

This low water must be a boon to the bigger predators, but disastrous for the young-of-the-year that are being forced out of the shallow water and into the deeper water with the big fish.

I guess this will be a poor year class for the Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.

I think I'll be hitting there next Monday in my kayak for the first time ever (wind permitting). Going to see if I can find a (non car battery) powered fish finder, at least for depth

Maybe I'll see you out there. I'll be in a little green kayak in the evening time.

I don't have any tips of any value to give. I can't even recommend a spot now that everything is above water.
