Shrewsbury flukeing

Have fished between the mouth of the Navesink and the Rumson bridge 4 of the last 5 days. Lots of fat, fiesty fish with an occasional keeper. Not too many other anglers out there. East shore is best and have been using killies sometime dressed with squid.

Good info.

"Rumson" Bridge? Is that the Oceanic Bridge or the Sea Bright Bridge?

The Navesink runs east west so the east shore is actually Sea Bright in the SHrewsbury.

Sea Bright to Rumson bridge. Been doing well on the Sea Bright side of the river-the east side of the Shrewsbury.

That's great. I tried the west side down accross from used-to-be-McLunes and the rich guy's house. Never did well there.

The channel comes over closer to your east side hole so I tried to minimize the wakes thrown and did west side and gave up down there north of Sea Bright bridge.
