Down Deep 40' - 9/12 AM & PM Fluke reports

Friday we ran two trips on the 40' Down Deep. Prior to the never ending Easterlies the fishing was super. After seeing some dismal reports on Thursday, we knew there weren't going to be any high expectations. Limited where to fish, trying various areas for decent drifting conditions, they were still shut down. We picked some shorts and a handful of keepers combined for both trips. Bluefish were a by catch.... yippee. So when conditions permit, bet your last dollar, we will get where we need to be and continue to pound the snot out of them again until we can't no more.

Saturday 9/13 - This morning's weather turned worse than previously forecast last night. So with 2 boats full of customers, we laid it on the line with everyone, some who drove a long way to get here, and appreciated the need not to take a boat ride. The guys all agreed to reschedule. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE, WE WILL GET BACK ON 'EM. IT'S NOT OVER

GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO GOT OUT TODAY.

Classy move skip. Safety first, fares second. That's the way it should be.

Kudos for not taking them on a boat ride. Want to get my little boat out tomorrow. NOAA forecast doom and gloom. Wind guru looks good. Long way to tow my boat and find out ts crappy. Hopefully the forecasts come together one way or the other. See you soon

I want their job ... If you listen to them, you would stay tied up. They all blow so many forecasts, it cost's everyone.

Good call by all. Glad you gave them the option. That's the way to treat your customers. You're a good man

Realistically, no one wants to cancel. What sucked was, it started cranking as it got closer to departing and not being able to call the trip before everyone got to the boat. Sometimes it happens, and there will be disappointment, on both ends. But I'm sure everyone understands, and will see later, that it's the right call. Everyone's chompin to get back out ! Good luck, be safe.
