Manasquan inlet report 9/9
 

Was out earlier today flukin the inlet. Not too many other spots from land to fluke with this wind so figured I'd give it a shot. Got out for the top of the incoming to outgoing. Cast netted some bait in the back water and started my day. Mostly shorts but very fat fish. A couple of almost keepers but that was it for me. After about 2 hours the tide was ripping so fast it was almost unfishable. A buddy of mine got one fluke about 4lbs. Didn't measure it but I'd say bout 23". Nice fat fish. Hopefully this wind calms down soon
