Monday AM SR north
 

Had the morning but with a questionable forecast last night, left the dock at 8.
Made a few stops off Deal and Elberon without a hit. Moved further north and found a nice pick of both keepers and shorts.

Fished until 11, ended with 6 fish between 3 and 7.9 lbs between 3 of us. Nice drift with a breeze from the SE moved us along. All fish on bucktails no love on bait. Water temp. in low 70's. Most fish in 45 - 50 ft.

Larry you would have enjoyed it, Dave tough luck.

Glad to hear you found them. Caught my biggest in the Deal area a few years ago in probably similar area at 13.3 lbs. I am hoping for a good sept bite
