Last night, we fished south east of the inlet. Fishing started out slow as conditions were terrible but they improved as the night went on. Everyone went home happy with plenty of blues ranging 10-14 lbs! Randy Rubestello from Wayne, NJ won the pool with a 14 lb blue.

This morning, we continued fishing north of Shark River Inlet and it took awhile to develop a pick. Fishing got better as the day went on. We held 3-5 on for an hour and a half and it slowed up at the end of the day with a slow pick. The blues were anywhere from 8-17 lbs and bit better on bait today, with some caught on jigs. Overall, it was fair to good fishing.
