FISHERMEN/ Monday....where were you?

So sick and tiered of the weatherman killing this business!!
Unfortunately, we were the only 3/4 day boat to sail today with a total of 13 customers for 4, 3/4 day boats. The fish finally start biting and the customers don't show. The day was absolutely beautiful.

Anyway, we had a nice all day bite on the last of the incoming, bigger fish on slack and the change of tide and we still caught them when the wind went west with the outgoing, drifting at 2.5 knots!!!
Nick, fishing the Pulpit put on a Buck-tail clinic today catching his limit with non-stop action, none of his fish had to be measured, all beauties !!!

Blue cooler Bob had another 7 pound fish to take today's pool. New Customer Doug had 4 nice fish, Capt. Ron Sr. had 4, couple guys had 3 and two keepers each. Seems like a better spread of fish the past week so we are not limited to one area anymore!
Weather looks great for the rest of the week, come on down....and Please, if there are 20 customers on the boat, don't tell me I'm crowded!!!

PB's being such a weather-dependent business, I feel everyone's pain. But let's not get carried away...unless you rather rely on the village sage reading cats' gut and tea leaves for your weather forecast.

along time ago I made a promise to myself that unless its super nasty when I wake up,i'm taking the ride to the boats.so many times I get to the boat to find
the weather is not bad at all and get my fishing in.sure there have been a few times when the boat did not sail but they are so few and far between.if ya stay home everytime the weather peep said it was gionna be bad you would never fish.buy some slicks and boots and take the ride.;)

Re: FISHERMEN/ Monday....where were you?

Took a shot in the wind(10-20+ mph forecasted) and drove down to the boat hopeful to sail. Part of what made my decision was knowing that the captain would have our safety in mind and put forth the extra effort to find a fishable bottom with the pending conditions, stay out longer then planned, use a little more gas, find their own fish, and/or just put a smile on your face.

At the end of the day the weatherman can only give you so much information and you can't let a possible shower deter you from an otherwise great experience. Have a little faith in the guys running the boats, they are Professionals!

To Ron, Sr, Mike & Lou
Thanks for a great time every time!
