Down Deep -7/24 Insane Ling & Bottom Dwellers
 

Today aboard the 40' Down Deep we ran a 5 am Open Boat Ling & Cod trip. Liam was the first to hook up with a double header as soon as the anchors came tight. In short order and quick work the double headers were flying over the rails, with more Ling to 4 lbs. The rest of the crew had drop and reel fishing with all sorts of tasty bottom dwellers, including Sea Bass, Winter Flounder and very few eels. Cod were MIA today. Our mates worked hard, kept everyone fishing, and filleted and bagged up some huge numbers.

:) Thanks MR AC. It helps when the crew makes it look easy. That's a good friend and regular Maurice. One hell of a fisherman, always at the rail and a great guy. I even asked him to make me a pair :D
