So I hit the Passaic today on a whim trying to pop my pike cherry. Spent about 2.5 hours fishing about two miles of shore using spinners and crankbaits.

I started at a bridge where I got a hit and spit on the first cast, but after it was quiet. Decided to try the bridge again before heading out, and... finally!

Had this guy grab a spinner. Not the biggest, but definitely the sweetest! About 20-22in. Unfortunately, I got him in under the gill cover, so thankfully my phone was recording so I could just flash him, and get him back in the water. Pretty good fight for a little guy. Itch scratched today, look forward to the next time!

Nice fish dude!! Welcome2 da club! From wut i've seen lately, u could've thrown a big hook by his dorsal n probly got a bigger 1. These guys are out there in NUMBERS, surprised they're not in front of home depot.:D Good catch man, keep em comin!

Once I find some more holes, that's a great idea to get the trophy pike. BTW nice 'eyes you've been getting on the Passaic!
