After work pike
 

With just working days for a few weeks and the water levels almost perfect, I hit the river the past two nights for a little over an hour each, in two different spots. Monday night was good with 6 pike landed and a few lost and last night was better with double digits landed and a couple follows by a monster, that just swam up to the kayak 3 times following the lure, but would not take it.

Nothing like leaving midtown NY in a traffic maze, to be sitting in the kayak an hour later with a couple cold ones and doing a little catching !!
