Fishergal in the making

I haven't logged in here in quite some time. I've been consumed with life in general, and fishing pretty often. In fact, my little mini me https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/43.../841/s560x.jpg
has taken up quite the liking to fishing.

When I first started out on this board I remember one of my first posts being to a thread asking "What's your tacklebox look like?" of which my reply was a photo of en empty tacklebox. Well, I'm proud to say my little girl has a photo for that -

Just a few more to share:
Caught from the Tomhannock with a spoon:

Mouth full of bacon so she could hold up the new shirt we bought her:

She baits her own hooks, takes off her own fish, and even tries changing her own tackle. Oh, she also loves to catch bait fish and put them on the hook to catch bigger fish:

My little girl...nothing prissy about her!

Very proud! (female though) I don't brag about anything usually, but when it's about the kids, well, that's another story.
Thanks!

Thanks. She LOVES the outdoors! She'd rather be outside. Fishing takes the bait over Barbies any day.

Thanks Gerry. I'm thinking of getting her on a fishing boat. SHe's gone with her god-father a time or 2 on a party boat. I'm gonna see about a fresh water trip on a more private charter for her....she'll love it!! And when we visit NJ this year we just might have to let her put a pole in the water there too.

Lucky you! I wish our daughter was into fishing and the outdoors. When she was young I'd take her fishing and she seemed to enjoy it. We'd also take her hiking, backpacking and wilderness canoe camping and she seemed to have fun, but once she reached high school she no longer had interest in any of that stuff. Her friends and soccer were all she was into. I had hoped it was a phase but she's 24 now and still has no interest in outdoors stuff, other than playing soccer.

I'm somewhat jealous of my friend whose daughters love to go fishing with him whenever they are home.
