Sea soda bass and canyon report big eye!!

Over all good weekend bass fishing we had bass both in the morning and night on saturday. We had 8 bass in the morning snag and drop and live line. In the afternoon we went 4 for 5 on bass with bass blowing up on top! Great action reminded me of fall bassing!

Saturday night we ran a fun trip on the Mushin. We left the dock at 11pm Saturday night getting to the hudson around 4:45. I slept the ride out after a double of bass fishing. Seas were calm and blue! Not very long after putting the spread in one on! Nice bluefin to the boat..the angler was a little aggressive and pulled the hook. Not a good way to start the day. We put the spread back in and not too long after one on! two on! three on! All small yellow fin. We had steady action for a bit. Then the bite slowed for us. Hearing reports of big eyes being caught, yellow fin, and decent bluefin. We continued to troll and troll and troll.. nothing.. with not much time left the guys were talking about possibly doing a tile fish drop. We decided to keep trolling with the reports of good fish being caught. Right before we were going pack it in.. a hugh eruption in the spread! Drag is running hard and we knew it was the one! After a short battle a nice 200 plus pound big eye was on the deck! We called it after that and headed to the barn! We ended up with about 15 yellow fin and one sweet big eye!
