another crappy end to a great weekend
 

Fished montauk Saturday and went straight to joey dah fish's house to spend the night (thanks for the hospitality), and fish with him sunday.

Up early and on the water for bass at six. Ran down the beach but couldn't find the bunker. We tried chuncking some ffesh bunker to no avail:mad: so we decided to give the flatties a shot.

Joe made a move and we had a slow pick to start. Fishing started improving when i landed one just shy of five lbs. We all fished hard for a total of nine keepers to 7.5 pounds.

Then tragedy struck when trying to save a cooler lid i jetesened my iphone out of my pocket and into the drink:eek: it is in a waterproof caze, but sunk like a stone. ISLANDER tried his hardest with and without me to find it but it was not to be :(. Now i have to go into the office tomorrow and explain why i need a new company iphone.

Joey, thanks for a fun day. I ended up with three keepers and 3 or 4 shorts and one less phone.

You need the salt life phone case Steve. Waterproof and it floats! And you can still use it through the plastic. Sucks about the phone

I could build a reef with the phones and gunglasses I've lost on the boat.
Sucks but glad you all had a good day fishing... Hopefully the insurance company you work for bought the insurance for the phone ;)
