Lake before/after pics...
 

Took these 7 years apart. Dam was rebuilt in Nov 2007 before then it was mostly drained. First pic is from 8/4/2007 and second pic is from last Saturday. Always interesting to see what lies beneath the water but not something you want to see too often which is one of your favorite spots almost drained.

I know what you mean. My family has a cabin at Lake Gerard in Sussex County and it's been drained 3 times in the past 20 years for dam repairs, the last was last year. Thankfully it wasn't completely drained so the fishery wasn't totally wiped out but I'm sure it will be quite a while before things are back to normal. That was one fantastic bassin' lake when I was growing up.
