Thinking of hitting Merrill Creek Res on thur. Where is the nearest place to buy herring?

I'll have an open seat in the boat if anybody is interested in coming along.

Id go in a second if I wasn't leaving for Vegas Fri morning. Been dying to get out there. Work that rip-rap at MCR. Good luck if you go.

PM sent. Make a list of all the bait shops you can find. ALWAYS call the day before you go to check availability. Full moon generally means no herring in most bait shops. Don't feel like you have to confine yourself to the rip rap, big trout roam the open waters too.

As long as your boat is in the water you have a good chance of a banner day at MC....but definately need those herring to git er done...Good luck

I grabbed herring at highway sports up the road from MCR on sunday, he had just had sum brought in from LH. Theres plenty of bait everywhere, laurie has her tanks full and is overloaded at the moment, all shops should be full tanks if they are getting wholesale deliveries.

Bait +Boat's herring were a little small this past sat. I will be at Merrill this coming sat.
