Tuna Wahoo Memorial Weekend

We fished Sunday and Monday of the holiday weekend, burned a ton of fuel and got mugged by bluefish both days. Sunday we ran up to Shrewsbury Rocks and finding it dead there, ran up to Raritan Bay. Livelining bunker we got blues, chunking bunker we got blues, trolling spoons....you guessed it, we got blues. Monday we worked from the rocks down to Asbury and back up again, no striper love, only blues. The steady west breeze dropped the water temp outside of Manasquan Inlet to 57 degrees and it stays that way until you reach the rocks where I read 62 degrees. I'm sure this temp drop is not helping the fliuke or striper bites. Back at it this week. Thanks--Rich
