Raritan Bay Striper and Bluefishing
 

Just jointed the site today and wanted to share the results of this past weekend and Monday and Wednesday.

We chummed with clam bellies and baited with fresh clams in the back bay. Saturday saw some good sized keepers and only two bluefish. Sunday some young anglers caught bass to 25 lbs with lots of shorts and bluefish. Monday the fishing was not as good with only a few keepers but with lots of action with shorts and nice size bluefish. Wednesday saw only one keeper bass and constant bluefish.

Was up last week looking for blues in the Keyport harbor area. Didn't find much so we packed the boat up and came back home to Virginia. I do a lot of fly fishing for blues in the bay area and would like to try next week....I would appreciate any information on the blues in shallow water around Keyport. Rather expensive to drive that for little results....my email is
