lake Shenandoah or Bennett mill pond
 

Hello all going to do some fresh water fishing in a boat, looking to go to either lake Shenandoah or Bennett mill pond what's your thoughts on we're to go? I have never fished either lakes
has any one gotten any trout out of Shenandoah recently?

I frequent Shenandoah given it's proximity. You'll find what you're looking for, though the algae is more pronounced this year, and the weeds have been slow coming in. I'm heading there now actually, I'll post when I get in. Good luck!

Sorry I didn't get back to post sooner, but sometimes life just gets in the way of whats really important. I only had a little time to fish, but the bass are mostly all on the beds now so it's panfish and trout I target. Let me know how ya made out wherever you decided to try, it's not often there is an inquiry in my area!! Have at it!!!

Went to Bennett mills trolled shiners . Trolled the whole lake 2x round and not one bit saw a coupl other boats out there also they were skunked also, not going to rush back there will try Shenandoah durning the week
