Bigger bows

I've been doin my limit more or less of stockies from a local river nearly every trip out. Passed a guy the other day with a stringer of 6 all 2# and up. Why the disparity in size. It's not a honey hole, so what's he likely throwing while I'm drifting butters for smaller fish. Prism crocodiles take the breeders in the local lakes but this place is loaded with deadfalls and offers little room overhead for casting . Any of you northern guys have a big fish fave.

A number 7 floating rapala in black and silver or rainbow color might do the trick. You should be able to cast it side armed but if not just let it drift downstram and then retrieve it.
