Nice fish from probably the closest water body to my house lol. I've caught decent Bass there in the summer, got to give this Trout thing a shot.

Eddie beat me to it. The hatchery in Pequest turns out some great fish and that rainbow is one of them. They don't get that big in the wild around here so "Thanks" to the staff at the hatchery for their trout program and "Thanks" to the Division of Fish and Wildlife for promoting a pastime and a tradition that we all enjoy.

Really nice fish, congrats. I fished there Opening Day since it's close to my house and not nearly as crowded as the trout streams. Guys on both sides of me caught fish on spinners and powerbait, I got nothing. Rumor was a guy caught an 8 pounder by the bridge, I think yours is the fish they were talking about.
